After a short break I decided to resubscribe to Birchbox this fall. My first box on my new subscription let me have a choice between the standard box with surprise products selected based on my profile and a box curated by The Everygirl, described on their website as an online resource helping shape the creative, career-driven woman to experience her life better lived. The site is full of inspiration for every woman to grow into the woman she has always believed she will one day be.
The box includes:
I mainly chose the box to guarantee a sample of the Benefit They're Real Push-Up liner. I have been dying to try since it was introduced and knew this was a good way to be sure to get my hands on it. I am sad to say I did not like the liner at all! Maybe it was because of the size of the sample but it just did not work at all in the way it is supposed to. I ended up squeezing some out of the tube and using my eye liner brush to apply which really defeats the purpose of the applicator. Now I am nervous to spend the money on the full size for fear that it will not work how I want it to. I will stick with my pot of gel liner and brush for now.
The brightening facial scrub from Acure Organics is very gritty but I like it. It makes for a wonderful morning shower when coupled with the Not Soap, Radio Body Wash in a great lemon scent.
I tried the Number 4 leave in after washing my hair and it was light leaving my hair feeling very smooth. I have tried the Harvey Prince Hello scent before and I like it. I will probably give this one away as I do not like it enough to have two.
Birchbox is $10/month and you receive 5 lifestyle samples with each box. The points system is the best of the subscriptions I have and it will most likely become the only box I receive in the future. If you would like to join feel free to use my referral link!
